This is our big winter fundraiser! We constructed 143 swags; 138 for sale and 5 for gifts and took in $3,425.00! It was a massive effort, with everyone pitching in to create the bows, wire the pinecones, source out and collect holly and cedar, and finally bring it all together in the Green Thumb Garden Centre greenhouse. A big “THANK YOU” is extended to Green Thumb which has been donating workspace to us for the last 5 or 6 years and is committed to keep working with us. How wonderful is that! And our partnering with The Davey Tree Expert Company to get cedar boughs was a huge success, so we hope we can do it again next year. And thank you, Linda, for doing such an amazing job of getting all us elves organized! We had a great time!
